Auto Bottom (Crash Lock)

An Auto Bottom folding carton has a closing tuck flap on the top of the box with a base that folds down and locks into place automatically as the user opens the carton to profile.

123 Bottom

A 123 Bottom folding carton has a closing tuck flap on the top of the box with a base that is folded by the end user with a series of tabs that lock into place to provide increased stability and strength.

Simplex

A Symplex style folding carton is made up of two parts – base and lid (unless used as a tray). The base and lid fold, glue, and ship flat, and requires the end user to fold to profile.

Hinged Lid

A Hinged Lid folding carton has a base that folds and glues flat, and the end user folds to profile. The lid is attached to the base by a hinge on the back of the carton. The lid closes to the base with varying styles of tuck flaps dependent on customer requirements.
